“How reddit saved my life” ~ Crowd-sourcing a medical diagnosis

I thought this was really cool how, after doctors were unable to make a diagnosis of his condition, this guy was able to diagnose the problem with help from the reddit community.

Crowd-sourcing a medical diagnosis may be frustrating for doctors at times, but clearly it worked out in this case.  Whether the medical field likes it or not, this practice will continue. Best they find a way to embrace it.
