Yeah, the attire wasn't very convincing, but I still like the analogy.

Nobody ever said anyone was bombing, fighting, or whatever for peace. Which is why it is a bad analogy, it starts with a false premise.

I still find this an appealing analogy and critique. We use violence to eventually gain peace. Bush and others have used the word peace frequently in describing their motivations or intentions regarding the Iraq war. As much as I hate war, I recognize the need to fight to defend yourself. There are many ways to fight besides war.
