I tried it, and it works. But you gotta check that your oven temperature is accurate–most are not. Get an oven thermometer to confirm.

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees (F)
  2. Place raw eggs on oven rack positioned in center height of oven
  3. Bake eggs at 325 degrees for 30 minutes

I’m no electrician, but I would guess that this method uses more electricity than boiling since air is such a poor conductor of heat,  but that’s just a gut call and not based on any evidence.
