Dallas (Matherly) Fallert ~ Obituary
My Mother’s best friend, Dallas (Matherly) Fallert, passed away. Dallas was a force of nature. With all her energy and enthusiasm, it’s hard to imagine her gone. Together, she and my Mom got into a lot of mischief 😉
May she rest in peace…Below is her obituary from the Visalia Times-Delta.
Dallas (Matherly) Fallert was born in Visalia, California on February 9, 1932 and passed on May 28, 2021 in Tulare, California. She grew up in a farming family which created a lifetime love of agriculture. Dallas met the late Bob Fallert, Sr., a farmer originally from Nebraska; they were married for over 60 years. They started their own farm and family in the Woodville area. Dallas was actively involved in her boys lives through 4-H and FFA; as well as Cotton Wives and Republican Women. Her commitment to supporting the community was evident in over 50 years as an Orange Jacket volunteer at the farm show. As an RN, Dallas always helped with community health events and loved to take care of others.
Dallas’ true passion was restoring Victorian homes, antiquing and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws: Robert Jr and BJ of Raymond, CA, Joe and Liz of Birmingham, MI and Ted and Margee of Tulare, CA; her grandchildren Bob III (Monique), Michael (Kim), Rachel, Ben (Celia), Sarah, Zac and Austin; and great grandchildren Mackenzee and Bobby IV.
A memorial service will be held in October.
