Driving my son to school today,  I asked how he was doing this morning, and he said, “Horridable!”

I’m sure he intended to say “Horrible,” but I laughed and asked him if he just made that up. He said yes, and that he has trademarked the word so I can’t use it.

That’s so 20th century, trying to hoard something, control it’s distribution.

In the 21st century, it’s all about “going viral,” releasing control so that your ideas can be “mashed up” by others to create even better ideas.

I don’t think he’d got that shift in our culture yet 🙂
