I notice this song, “Welcome Home, Son” by Radical Face, on the closing credits of the documentary, Forks Over Knives. I liked the acoustical guitar melody. But after reading the lyrics, I can’t say I understand much of what they mean. “Sometimes you’ve got to just let art flow over you.”
Yet again, my music taste is expanded by music used in a commercial. As Apple did for Feist’s “1,2,3,4”, Jeep does for the X Ambassadors’ “Renegades.” I simply can’t get the melody out of my head, nor the message out of my soul. We all need to be Renegades at some point in our lives. …
