This is certainly a composite or double exposure photo: the moon is so bright compared to the stars that a single, proper exposure for the moon would not let in enough light to render any image of the stars. Could be done with a double exposure, though. Also, the moon's colors are not natural looking, though they make for a beautiful image. The filename indicates "hypersaturated," which explains the color shift...
