* Robert Kowalski has always advocated buying vitamin/mineral supplies from Tigard, Oregon based Endurance Products Company. Kowalski claims he has no investment or revenue from Endurance Products Company. His endorsement is based on researching the processes used to make the vitamin supplements by various companies. In Kowalski's opinion, Endurance Products Company had highest quality and consistence. He was particularly enamored with the patented "time-release" formula used by Endurance. The time-release element is particularly important when ingesting niacin, which typically causes irritating symptoms (skin flush, itching, etc.) that are assuaged by the time-released or "sustained-release" formula.

Other Heart Healthy Habits

  • Avoid saturated and trans fats
  • Seek out omega-3 fatty acids (fish and walnuts)
  • Eat nuts which generally have healthy oils: walnuts, almonds, etc.
  • Eat oat bran for fiber and cholesterol lowering properties
  • Eat fruits and veggies of all kinds.
  • Eat only lean meats, including chicken, turkey, and pork tenderloin (which is surprisingly low in fat). Avoid fatty red meats.
  • EXERCISE at every opportunity! Even a little goes a long way.
